This piece of my work is a body sculpture, it can be worn alone or with clothes, or it can be a sculpture independently. My concept is inspired by Dadaism.

Whether art can only A kind of thinking and presentation made with very exquisite materials, and at the beginning, when the teacher asked us to form a group and then do observational painting, I found that even very ordinary things are assembled and neatly arranged in artistic sense. It looks very artistic, so I made a lot of different attempts to put the objects in different ways and combine shapes to form the prototype of my work. Which questions does this work raise?

When I created this work, I investigated two artists who are masters of dadaism. The first was Duchamp. He defined the finished art. The essence of art is freedom and no boundaries, so art is just an angle. When it was fashionable to take the most everyday things and call them art when they were simply processed or not processed, I felt very admirable and inspired. This changed the way we think about materials. The second one made me more inspired. the artist manray

I really like his style of surrealism. His photography style is never about capturing a specific object but a feeling. He pieced together the unreal and the real, and used photosensitive paper to do different experiments and also changed. and redefine photography, there are also many everyday objects in his photography to interpret it in different ways

I think this project has given me a lot of new ideas about the material of art and what can be called art, how to combine these very everyday materials to show in my own way, and even to say that creating something that can’t be seen and used I am very interested in the conflict and innovation of the specific materials to create the works. Art has no boundaries. When we look at art, we just use different perspectives to interpret different materials.

From this work, I have new questions about art and fashion. There is no standard in fashion, but I think the question I want to explore is the boundary between pure art and fashion, whether clothes are sculptures, and what is the difference between sculptures and clothes? , can any item be called a work of art as long as it is buckled from the perspective of the work of art？
